I was going through a period of self-doubt and this song was written the moment things turned around. It's structure is a departure for me. The song has a chorus of course, but only has 1 verse and a bridge. Though this is only a "demo" I believe it is successful in capturing the spirit in which it was written. I sang, all vocals and played keyboards and Ahmed Mahmoud, played guitar, produced, programmed and engineered the track. I would have loved to have been able to master this song and release a final studio version of it. Maybe someday...
